Media Guide Mistake or Not?

Even the blog doesn't really think the Gophers omitted the score, especially since it apparently appears in four other places within the media guide, so the point is moot.

Nice job at trying to inflame the board though.

Looks like the bloggers (Hlas and Rand) were having a little off season fun at the fans' expense.

I only know it as...

Idiots
Out
Wandering
Around

Knowing the eye to detail of our athletics dept, I'd say it's just a mistake.

Did they botch the spelling of any legends this time around?

That's maturi and prexy b for you! They are in charge of everything that goes on in the athletic department. prexy b: it's time to retire. old chap! And, your yes man maturi is going on 65. You are both too long of tooth for your jobs.

this 'oversight' was highlighted on espn 20 minutes ago, for the college football world to see:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

now another reason for the gopher football program to be a laughingstock...:eek::eek:

i disagree with 4starrecruit...brewster is running the football program, not bruiniks or maturi...brewster's list of areas for dramatic improvement continues to grow...:eek::eek:

joel maturi ought to wait 6 months before any talk of a contract extension is finalized....:clap::clap:

there is somebody 'out there' who is much better...:D:D:D

Our Rose Bowl run this year is tainted!!

Do you seriously think that Maturi or "Prexy B" would be the ones copy editing the media guide?

my answer to your question is 'no'...:D:D:D

however, it is entirely possible that the 'pesky hacker' had something to do with this omission from the gopher football media guide:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Oh jesus christ. This is on the SID's office only. The coaching staff/admin have nothing to do with it. Perhaps you think that the coaching staff also handles getting out the wire reports and box scores?

You want to see something worth getting all worked up about? Try these links about Notre Dame and Weiss:
Notre Dame omits Charlie Weis' losing seasons from his bio
Irish leave out losing seasons in bio of Weis
Notre Dame omits losing season in Weis' bio
According To The Notre Dame Media Guide, Charlie Weis Has Never Been Involved In A Losing Season
Too Nice To Weis? Notre Dame 'Carefully' Presents Coaching Record

In case the headlines don't make it clear, ND chose to omit an entire season from their media guide. That's f-ing ridiculous and makes the error by our Sports Info Dept look tame.

Agree, especially considering the game appears on FOUR other places within the media guide. These folks are now really stretching for something, anything, to advance their agenda. What a joke.:rolleyes:

Actually it looks like the victors enjoying a joke at our expense, of our own creation.

First the joke of a game we presented to them last November.

Now the joke that we made a mistake and left it off in one place.

When you field a team as poorly prepared as we were that day, there is no defense when the rival pokes fun at you. Here's hoping we show up in Iowa City and do the same to them this year, so we can have the fun next off season. Otherwise all we can do is sit back and take it.

For some folks, that's exactly what it is. For others, not so much. And that's to whom I was referring.
