Mason: “It’s a travesty what New Mexico State is doing. …To play a game on Saturday and then go on the road and play a Big Ten team on Thursday"

They aren't going to play at the Vikings stadium.

I don't think the parking situation dictates the day of the game. i think its 100% the exposure for the team. Being one of the few major programs on Thursday night is an advantage. Its also an advantage to have two extra days to prepare for your week 2 opponent. You're not beat up and tired before your first game. 48 hours may be why they do well in the non-conference. I'm sure Peej knows
You are 100% correct on all points. All this other blather is excuses to make excuses.

This is really a non-story of the kids will be recovered from the game fully by Tuesday morning at the latest (Unless one of their running backs had a ton of carries) and they’ve had all summer for the coaches to game plan.
