Interesting, he was third-team by the Big Ten coaches, second-team by the Big Ten media, but first-team by the AP. Who was voting for the AP team?

People who just look at PPG, RBG, and APG

Great honor for him. But he isn’t a top 5 player in the conference to me. I’d probably have him second team if going by positions and third team if it is positionless.

Top end of the 3rd team is about right for Marcus. Certainly wasn't consistent enough to be a 1st-teamer, not in this loaded Big Ten.
