A Minnesota win tonight would batter those championship hopes, while clinching MSU's first three-loss season at Breslin since 1997-98, and first three-game losing streak there since 1996-97.

There's something about that year that rings a bell...

I'm not predicting doom and gloom, but we either pull off the upset tonight or we're basically playing for second the rest of the way. It will be more fun to win, but the alternative will be no disgrace.
