Nova suspends activities.

What happens if this happens during the NCAA Tournament? Do they forfeit? You can't just delay a game two weeks with the other 67 games going on.

What happens if it happens two days before Selection Sunday? Same scenario. Do they still get the bid but forfeit? Does the entire tournament just get canceled again?

Does the NCAA just say, "F it" and only make the people that tested positive sit out because $$$$$?

Do teams like Kansas and Cleveland State get treated the same? Doubt it.

Has the NCAA announced anything regarding this?

Nothing has been announced but you’re correct you cant

I would guess they will want to create a system where teams can opt out and thus wouldn’t get invites like teams did for bowls.

Only players who have tested positive or who have been “exposed” should have to sit out IMO. Each team/conference has their own protocol. It’s strange.

No
If they’re smart they’ll announce how everything will work well in advance

With all the games being in Indianapolis, perhaps there will be some time for teams to quarantine in place before the games start.

Need teams to be responsible. If football teams back out of bowl games because of the virus, basketball teams can back out of tourney eligibility. Gotta believe the tourney happens regardless, so forfeit and move on. Could make for some wild outcomes.

For the B1G, are the BB rules for COVID the same as the football rules (e.g., 21 days where you can't play)? And, can we get Carr designated as an "essential worker" so he gets to the top of the list for getting a vaccine shot?

The B10 changes it to 17 days for OSU and the football championship game IIRC.

Very funny about Carr being an essential worker:D.. You you should post more on here!

Hard to know where things will be in March. It would stink to be playing well and lose a bunch of games due to a covid outbreak. Not trying to be insensitive knowing how many people have lost loved ones to the virus. If we get to the tournament I would certainly hope there is some type of bubble in place
