Per Saturday Football:

Georgia Southern player suspended for dangerous beer chug​

Things have not been great in Statesboro, with the Eagles falling to 1-3 and in the midst of a 3-game losing streak. Not only did the team lose on Saturday but a senior lineman has been suspended indefinitely. That suspension stems from a dangerous pre-game incident.

Prior to the game, a video surfaced of DL Gavin Adcock chugging a beer while standing on top of the team bus. Making the stunt even more dangerous, the bus was in motion during the chug. Adcock has since apologized for the incident. He called it "selfish" and "not what we are about." There is currently no timetable for when Adcock might be eligible to rejoin the team.
