Lack of recruiting had zero to do with last nights game. We have far more talent on our team than jNW. We had a 31-10 lead entering the 4th. The Jimmy and Joe’s weren’t the problem.

It never finishes that high under PJ. You fell for his marketing. Every year he fills his classes early relative to other schools and touts these top ranked classes, knowing full well once other schools fill their classes that his class rankings will drop like a brick. At that point he mysteriously goes silent on the rankings of his class which he was raving about months before.

But this isn't even that, it's his inherent conservative nature. He's all flash on the outside but with the soul of a 60 year old HC who refuses to modernize his offense. His classes aren't the real problem, the real problem is an utter refusal to search long and wide for a modern offense and OC.

Yup. Lost last week due to lack of talent. Lost this week due to lack of heart and brains.

In the presser about 35 seconds in he says “it’s on me” or something like that. Not that it matters if he says it or not. Doesn’t change anything.

I'm not worried about that because that is pretty much what coaching is all about: raising talent and quality up. The problem is having high grade talent and screwing it up.
