I drove past the stadium today and it looked like they were fixing the "M" on the visitor's side seats.

I've seen several people refer to that. What exactly was wrong with it?

The left "leg" of the M wasn't a perfect straight line. It had a couple of "steps" in it (probably to account for the fact that the section is slightly wider at the top than at the bottom). Here is a photo of when they were first installing the seats and you can see the issue:
