It would be fun to hear how much time everyone spent on selecting their tickets. I'm talking about the whole process.

- Reading the mailings
- Figuring out the Gopher Points
- Trying to log in to the selection website
- Time spent on the phone with customer service
- Trying to think of a password that had symbols, letters (upper case & lowercase), numbers, at least 6 digits long but no longer than 14, with no more than 4 similar characters from your last password
- Exploring the selection website
- Checking out different seat views
- Calculating sun angles
- Tracking others' selections (includes counting green dots :))
- Planning the parking
- Strategy sessions with friends who are also season ticket holders
- Driving or walking by the stadium trying to get a visual on possibilities
- Actually selecting your seats
- Placing ads on Craigslist (ha ha)
- Therapy sessions to help manage the stress
- Discussing all of thee above on this board
- Anything else?

Many. But loved every minute of it. Buying a house or a car cannot compare.

The process was very interesting and I spent a lot of hours. I even checked in when we were on vacation in Mexico.

After narrowing down my choices based on my priorities, it was a lot of wait and wait some more as I picked May 7. Then log in and watch the green dots disappear.

It reminded me when we were kids back in the late 40's going to the candy store with no money and seeing all the great choices. Then coming back later with a nickel and the candy you really wanted was gone. But you still got some good stuff and all was good.

I'd be happy to pick seats for a Twins fan at their new digs! I assume they will collaborate with the UM and provide a high quality system like the UM employed.
