Grier signs with Flip and Wizards

• The Washington Wizards signed former Gophers standout Vincent Grier, who played in France last season. Grier was with the Miami Heat during the 2006 preseason but did not make the team and has never played in the NBA.

Nice to see grier on a squad. However, the Wizards are my favorite team and their weakness is not SG/SF. Also EG, their GM, said they will most likely enter the season with 14 player. Grier would be fighting Stevenson, Mcguire, and Young for backup spots at Swingman. He probably won't beat them out. Plus if they choose 15 players, Paul Davis will probably beat him out simply because he is at a poisition of need (FC).

In short, Chances are slim, but i hope he makes it.
