Wife and I made the drive from Charlotte. 425 miles of beautiful drive mostly through the mountains. Got to the visitors parking lot and very surprised at the number of Gopher fans. Is this a normal crowd for an away game this far from the Twin Cities?

Openning drive of the game was impressive. At the end with the Gophers trailing by three, I was thinking that Phat Pat will be up Brew's arse if we don't pull this out. The depth and strength of our lines won out, however. You can't keep the defense on the field for 45 minutes and not have their tongues on the carpet. In the end the heat finally caught up...with MTSU. Also at the end, when it really counted, Weber was spot on. His throw on 3rd and 11 was a tough toss, perfectly made and the decisive play of the game.

After the game we drove to the casino in Cherokee. Due to complete stops for construction we got there at 4:30 am. I was up at 8:00 to play the new course at the casino, "Sequoia Nationa", a spectacular mountain course.

Congratulations Gophers and thanks to the fellow fans that absolutely forced us to accept a few hospitable brewskis. By the way, where were the Hamms? Oh well.
