It has been requested in another thread that I pull together comparative team stats for each weekly matchup going forward. I’m happy to do so if I have the time each week. If you have suggestions please let me know. I hope this is helpful as we look ahead to the matchup this weekend. I will plan to skip the SDSU week.

Please note – I’m doing my best to pull this data accurately but it’s entirely possible mistakes will be made. If you find an error in the data please let me know and I can edit the info.

Very nice summary re stat-wise...please keep posting from week-to-week...and keep up the good work!

Outside of the passing game edge to Sparty, this looks like a reasonable matchup and might actually favor the Gs @home if Brew's STs/SFs dominate and Minny wins the turnover battle while avoiding stupid penalties.

Very nice, looks pretty similar across the board. Are there such things ST stats? I'd be curious about what Troy will be facing returning kicks (hopefully just one kick, that'd be great). I tried looking this up earlier but couldn't find anything.

Special Teams

I'm sure the data exists but I'm not sure where to pull it. I imagine the football office prepares a weekly stat sheet for the media but it isn't something I've ever seen. If someone could get their hands on that it could be cool.

Cool, thanks. I'm going to say it anyway then. This is the week Troy takes one all the way.

Looks like MSU has a slight edge, 27-20 or so... but that was while we had Decker. I really hope Gray seems even 1/3 of the time this week, just to throw off MSU. That could create a nice win over what's a good team.
