Cobb was a really solid player and had a great 2014 season. But if I was making a list of the top RB at the U of M there would be quite a few names on that list before I would get to Cobb.
Just off the top of my head (in no particular order)
Marion Barber Jr
MBIII
Maroney
Darkins
Thompson
Rodney Smith
Ibrahim
Bruce Smith
Nagurski
And there are others that I would probably think of before Cobb as well. He does make for an interesting trivia question though....
Which RB holds the record for the most single season rushing yards at the University of Minnesota - David Cobb - 2014 - 1629 yards - Guarantee very few people would guess Cobb, I know I would not have.
