Gophers football depth chart projections | Gopherhole

Does this mean we will be able to beat the likes of Bowling Green?

A lot of potential - but also a lot of "what-if's" with the two-deeps.

May be stating the obvious, but I believe the OL and DL play will decide what type of a season this is going to be. If the OL gels, and the young DL can work out a solid rotation, then this can certainly be - at least - a 9 or 10-win team.

as always, have to stay healthy.

This. LOTS of talent returning at multiple positions, but most B1G games are won in the trenches where the Gophers return the least experience. They have guys who played a lot and others who are drawing rave reviews, but not many OL/DL starters who were getting the majority of the reps.

Still, the schedule lines up nicely, Wisconsin and Iowa lose some important pieces (and haven't done much to improve offensively, at least on paper)...so the division is there for the taking IMO. Agree it will come down to OL/DL play in addition to staying healthy (as always) and improvement in the passing game (let's go KC)!

Running Backs:

  1. Mohamed Ibrahim
  2. Treyson Potts
  3. Bryce Williams
Would much rather see:

  1. Mohamed Ibrahim
  2. Ky Thomas
  3. Markeise Irving
