Didn't Kill have a ridiculous split like that too?
 

I could see things playing out this way next week too. I don't think Colorado has a lot of fire power on offense, especially if we can get them needing to pass more. If we can start strong I like our odds.
 



Yep, Kill had the same situation. Whoever was ahead at half was going to win, for the most part.

Not to defend Fleck but winning after a halftime deficit is generally the result of good halftime adjustments by the OC and DC. Perhaps we should be looking there, but let's see if the trend continues this season.

On a side note, coming back from a halftime deficit, points are at a premium, and the Gophers haven't had a solid reliable FG kicker in a number of years. It sure looks like that has changed this year
 



I translate that to mean they beat teams they're supposed to beat and struggle against teams that are better. They don't fold usually in the second half and that's a good thing!
 


Jerry was similar IIRC.

It was one of the big issues with the Kill era, if we started slow ... it was just OVER.

It's exciting but I'm not a fan of "having" to come back.
