The University of Minnesota men’s hockey program announced today that the Gophers will host an exhibition game at 7 p.m. CT on Oct. 5 at Mariucci Arena against Lethbridge. The exhibition game is included in all season-ticket packages.

Additionally, Minnesota and College Hockey, Inc., have finalized matchups for the Oct. 11-12 Ice Breaker Tournament at Mariucci Arena. The Gophers will officially open the 2013-14 season on Oct. 11 against Mercyhurst at 7 p.m. while New Hampshire and Clarkson will face off earlier in the day at 4 p.m. The Ice Breaker Tournament features a championship format with the losers of both Friday games playing at 4 p.m. on Saturday followed by the championship game at 7 p.m.

More information, including additional game times and a television broadcast schedule for the 2013-14 season, will be made public as it becomes available.
