Good write-up about college football recruiting


Thanks for the post. It's admittedly probably too long for a lot of people, but I think it should at least walk some people down from the ledge about the Gophers' class being ranked 12th.
 

I think that it just shows that unless you're in the top or bottom 30-35 teams player development and attrition will be what determines your success. Enough of the top 30 teams will have attrition problems that a position in the lower half of top 25 can be won by teams in the middle. If a team can break into that range the recruiting will follow it's a process.
