ESPN: Rebound opportunities in the Jug game; U "arguably the BTs most disappointing"

per ESPN:

Rebound opportunities in the Jug game: Neither Michigan nor Minnesota played in Week 8. That was probably a good thing, as both needed to lick their wounds a bit. The Golden Gophers have been arguably the Big Ten’s most disappointing squad, starting off just 1-2 in conference play and getting hammered by Nebraska at home last time out. They are beginning a three-game stretch where they will face Michigan, Ohio State and Iowa on consecutive Saturdays. Yikes. The Wolverines, of course, had a full week to stew over their devastating loss to Michigan State on the miraculous blocked kick touchdown return. This will be a Halloween night game, but nothing could match the Wolverines’ horror from last year’s Little Brown Jug contest, when Minnesota won handily in Ann Arbor and the Shane Morris concussion controversy all but ended the Maize and Blue careers for Brady Hoke and Dave Brandon.

Go Gophers!!

No doubt Minnesota and Nebraska are the two most disappointing.

I'd argue Nebraska but that is hard to do considering the outcome of the head to head.

One could make a strong case for either program. Most people outside MN would say Nebraska given they fired a 9-3 coach and are sitting 3-5 (1-3 conference) and are about to stay home for the holidays. Yes, there’s a good chance we’ll be staying home too even though we’re coming off what many thought was our best season in 50-years. The Huskers went on an NCAA-record 35 consecutive bowl games from 1969 to 2003. In that same time, MN had seven bowl appearances. Since that time it has been pretty even with the U going to eight bowls vs. Nebraska’s nine. Although we had high expectations this year, they always run higher in Nebraska so I guess they get the greater disappointment nod over us.
