Yes, it's a bit early to drag out quantitative team ratings, but, for what it's worth ----

Sagarin has us #53 in DI, ahead of Iowa (#60), Rutgers (#74), Nebraska (#100), and NW (#119) in the conference.

Our schedule is ranked as the 32nd toughest exceeded only by Michigan State in the conference (#18th). All 3 of our losses have been to top 50 rated opponents with one of them (Oklahoma #15) rated among the top 25.

Hilarious contrast to 2018-2019. According to Sagarin, it’s better to lose pretty than to win ugly. Makes sense.

We're getting credit for playing Power 5 teams I'm sure. But at some point you have to win them. Unless you're Nebraska last year.

In 6 weeks Kenpom will have only the present data and will reflect very well how well teams play and they will have piled up wins. Check out all the end of season Kenpom numbers and they will marry the best teams year after year. Sagarin does not come close to that.
