per the Pioneer Press:

University of Minnesota junior center Jeff Tow-Arnett is out for the season after breaking his right leg in Saturday's 31-28 loss to Wisconsin, Gophers coach Tim Brewster confirmed Sunday. Tow-Arnett, who started all five games this season, will need microfracture surgery. Brewster said Tow-Arnett would be replaced by sophomore Trey Davis.

Go Gophers!!

That's too bad for Jeff and the team, it seemed like he and Burris have been the least worst so far this year on the line.

That's awful. Microfracture surgery seems to take about a year and a half to recover fully from. I'm sure he'll be back next season but it will limit him at least some. Poor guy.

Unfortunately he is a senior.

Unfortunately he is a senior.
That really sucks then. There's probably no way he gets a medical red shirt at this point so that's it for his playing days. What an awful day for the Gophers.

Trey Davis will step up. And what is the status of Wynn?

Well that is really to bad for Jeff and the Team. He's been a big contributor to the growth of this program.

Here's hoping for successful surgery and a great recovery.

Ugh. Bad for the Gophs, bad for Jeff and family. Good luck and good recovery Jeff...
