per CBS:

St. Leo University (Fla.) senior guard Isaiah Hill has been suspended for the rest of the calendar year after a video of him punching a Nova Southeastern University opponent during a game hit social media. Nova Southeastern's junior Nick Smith was on the other end of the very obvious, and seemingly out of nowhere, punch.

During the recent Division II basketball game between the schools, Hill wound up and struck Smith and, somehow, the officials did not notice.

Go Gophers!!

Till the end of the calendar year?! WTH?! Who would want to play ball with this guy?

pretty light punishment for assault.... Looks like white lives do not matter much

That player should be done for the year along with the ref who missed it happen directly in front of his face

Probably called him the N word. That's what everyone says after they sucker punch people or assault people these days.

That was nasty! What we don't know was the other kid issuing sucker punches as well? What other shenanigans took place? If nothing, rest of the calendar year i.e. a few weeks that's lame as hell.
