Coyle to be extended to 2030

Someone please explain the logic behind this? He is already under contract through 2028. Four more years. Is he so hot that some other Univ will snag him up unless we give him an extension? I can see extending coaches because if you are good (Ben is not) other schools will steal you away. But AD's? Really. I don't get it.
