Could the Gophers be better than last year's NCAA tourney team?

I feel like last year's results are this year's ceiling. If we are at least nervous on Selection Sunday I will consider it a success.

I definitely think we can be better. Last years season was solid, but not the level of success that makes you feel like we are hoping for lightning to strike twice. We were a losing B1G team and had a fun first round tournament upset. If we finish a few games north of .500 in conference instead of a few games under (which doesnt feel like I'm asking for a miracle), then we likely wont even need an upset to at least match last years tournament result.

Some better shooting, a reliable PG, and upgraded perimeter defenders with Willis and Williams...who knows what could happen. But if Oturu gets hurt, this season will be one of the worst in years.
