Coordinator Carousel

So 32 teams have made coordinator changes unrelated to a head coach changing ... 27% of D1 teams. Sad that we've been a part of that list for the last three years now. Continuity is an important piece of the puzzle we've been sorely lacking (duh)

This is one of the things that Brewster/Maturi can be ripped most for. Granted, we want him to hire people that are good enough for other schools to want, but we also want a coach that can inspire some loyalty. Hopefully the carousel is over and Horton is the answer.

Agreed, continuity in the coaching ranks is typically necessary for long-term stability and progressive recruiting. I would be willing to bet that the gophers would be getting top 25 recruiting classes still if players knew who the coaches were going to be. Iowa is fortunate to have a man like Kirk Ferentz who has had the same 0ffensive and Defensive Coordinator his entire head coaching tenure, @ Iowa.
