Chris Monter: Junior Joe Mollberg Gets Gopher Interest

Minnesota has a commitment from Max Shortell, a 6-foot-6, 214-pound senior quarterback from Shawnee Mission (MO) Bishop Miege. Typically, most schools, including Minnesota like to sign one quarterback from each class. GopherHole.com will look at some of the top junior signal callers. Joe Mollberg, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound junior from Detroit Lakes (MN) High, has already received interest from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska and North Dakota State after he threw for 1,450 yards and twelve touchdowns as a sophomore.
