This was discussed in a thread leading up to the Iowa game, here are the 12 Barn Sellouts (14,625) during the Richard Pitino era as listed in Wikipedia.

Anyone recall anything special about the Harvard game like a promotion or local kid drawing from his hometown? I would have to think it's rock solid info if it's on Wiki...

I think there were a ton of Wisconsin fans in that 2014-15 game because they clinched the Big Ten championship by winning that game. They were exceptionally good that year and we were exceptionally bad, so they were probably pretty confident in getting a win.

I tried to find anything unique or special about that game and I came up empty. It was our first-ever game against Harvard, which is cool, but I can't imagine that mattered to more than a few who attended.
 

Not many tix available for Iowa game per Gopher’s ticket website.

We were 13-3 at the time of that game and had been ranked most of the season up to that point, although were unranked at the time of the game. Also, it was a Saturday afternoon game, which is always huge. And, it timed well during the holiday break, removed enough from Christmas and still two days away from New Year's.
 

You gotta sell out the Border Battle... Not selling that out shows you are charging too much for the demand the quality on the court creates.
 



To make the comparisons over the years more valid it would be interesting to see what the ticket prices were adjusted for inflation including seat license fees.
 

Updated to include Sunday's game.

Helped out by having what looked like a 50 member plus choir sing the anthem, thus roping parents/families to buy tix. Also it was Gopher alumni day.

Bummer of a finish. Understatement.
