With 2020 being a unique year. Are there special rules on the conference selection process this year? Will the Big Ten have 9 representatives? Can a bowl eligible team have a losing record? Will there be 37 bowl games?

Records won't matter in decisions. Not certain about this, but it would make sense if It'll be normal tie-ins and wherever you finish in your conference's overall standings.

These are the bowl games with Big Ten tie-ins:
Duke's Mayo, Guaranteed Rate, Music City, Pinstripe, Outback, Citrus, Orange (shares tie-in with SEC and ND)

I believe the Gophers are currently 9th overral in the conference standings, so they're on the outside looking in. Probably will need 2 more wins to make at least the Duke's Mayo Bowl or the Guaranteed Rate Bowl, beating Nebraska and the crossover against MSU or Rutgers could do it.

I think everything is up in the air.

Even if bowl games will even be played....
