7. Minnesota
What to Watch on Offense:
Can the return of coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca help the passing game get back on track? Four starters need to be replaced up front.

What to Watch on Defense: Coordinator Joe Rossi must replace a couple of key players in the trenches, including edge rusher Boye Mafe. Also, leading tackler Jack Gibbens and cornerback Coney Durr departed.

Go Gophers!!

Don't really get why they bother framing this as some sort of power ranking. Could just as easily call it a spring preview of all the teams in the conference and not bother with some arbitrary ranking of the teams against each other.

The rankings give people something to complain about, analyze, etc. and help drive more clicks. Plus, it sets up the next piece covering which teams "moved up" or "moved down" during spring practice.
