They covered the Gophers via tape, Natalie Kane did a quick post practice interview with Coach Brewster. In it he said MG is a quarterback, and he has pressed Weber. And MG is one snap away from being the QB. Back in the studio Denardo and Griffin reiterated the point the Gophers must find a running game. They questioned whether they could develope one in the pre season games. Griffin is of the opinion that MG can add a dimension to the running game, that puts pressure on the outside. Dave Revsine added a stat that the Gophers over the past two years are 11-2 when they rush for over 100 yards in a game. And 2-11 when they don't.

Lamonte Edwards, come on down!

I will echo that opinion.

if he is going to be a wildcat QB he needs to learn to carry the ball high and tight. he has the reputation, rightly or wrongly, of being fumble prone and opposing coaches are going to exploit that.

i do agree that the running game will decide whether the gophers will be 4-8 or bowl bound.
