So?

That is what happens when a leader wants to get rid of garbage and make significant changes. Happens everywhere, all day, every day.

Hackin
I know it must seem that way to you, as you probably get called a moron a lot. But it doesn't happen everywhere, every day. Sorry.

Then we never will. Which should be obvious.

You can't be elected POTUS unless you can win a primary of the Dem or Repub party. And you can't do either of those unless you take hard, radical stances to appeal to the primary voting base of those two parties.

Broken. Beyond repair.
We'll find out. If someone like Bernie gets the nomination then we're in a bad place. If it's someone like Klobuchar, we're not. There is a perception that the party is far left because of AOC getting all the attention. But if you look at most of the folks who flipped the 40 seats it's a different story.

Yeah, but Bernie was old and a bit of a stooge. Would things have been different if he was younger, better looking, and spoke better in public? I guess we will indeed see.

Over Macho Grande?
Who cares if he's generally incompetent at his job as long as he owns the libs, am I right?
If incompetent and owning the Libs translates into;

- Criminal justice reform
- Tax reform
- Appointing 2 SCOTUS
- Torching NAFTA
- Record low unemployment
- Record low black unemployment
- Record high black business ownership
- Reshaping the judiciary with judge appointments
- Lowest unemployment claims in 45 years
- Deregulation to bolster a booming economy
- Far too many more accomplishments to list...

... well, I guess most of us can live with that then.

Aptly demonstrates the fundamental flaw with democracy: people get to vote for the false option, even if they do it for no other reason than to spite others.

All systems have flaws, and Trump is the perfect demonstration of the glaring flaw with our's.

It's a well known fact that Trump never went to school as a boy. Instead, his father's limo dropped him off at a construction site every morning to put in a hard day's work. Trump has electrical, plumbing and boiler licenses. Very, very calloused hands.
You guys really need to learn to pick your battles, because there's no meat on this bone.

He’s ignorant and contemptuous. Basically, like the fellas. It’s an amusing combination on a message board but a terrible combination in the White House.

When did the Democratic party become of the party of the elitist snobs? This is the attitude that cost you the election. Your Goddess Hillary wouldn't even step foot in states like Minnesota or Wisconsin, to speak to people like you. And you love her for it.

Trump didn't take any hard radical stances. Neither did Romney, McCain or W Bush.

Fine. His best chance. Or someone like Bernie to get the Dem nomination. Ugh.
Or any candidate that promotes Medicare-for-all along with free college or some new Green deal.

When those candidates have to show how much it will cost, realistic ways that it would be paid for, and the impracticality and unpopularity of it, those candidates will lose all credibility.

People didn’t want Obamacare, but thanks to big Dem majorities in Congress when Obama was elected, they jammed it through. Obamacare is nothing compared to Medicare-for-all. It will be very unpopular.

It’s why Shultz is running away from it. Kamala Harris may win with it in California, but not where normal people live.

Only if you want healthcare that non-wealthy people can afford.

So in other words, you either get your healthcare through your employer, or you're ____ed.
Republicans will gladly pass legislation for pre-existing conditions and dependent coverage to 26 in a nanosecond if that’s all Dems want Obamacare for, then scrap the rest.

What is "pre-existing condition legislation" and how does it work? Thanks!
It's pretty easy, it goes like this:

- make it illegal to deny anyone for PEC
- allow people to choose not to buy heath insurance, for any reason
- now the only people who want to buy it are people who know they need it or are likely to need it
- thus, it becomes unaffordable
- thus, no one buys it
- health insurance companies go out of business

IE, the Republican healthcare panacea.
