Realistically speaking...the gophers probably are not going to get in...nor will they go 8-1 to finish the season. I believe they have to go at least 7-2 and even then they will probably be an 11 or 12 seed with a first round loss... maybe the NIT could help this team become more of a unit, help them believe in each other a little more rather then getting blown out of the gym in an NCAA Game.
 

I can see your point; last year's NIT title is certainly paying dividends for Penn St. this year.
 

The NIT is also great for recruiting. Oh wait...
 

true...but penn state lost Cornley...thier only rebounding presence...The NIT is most likely the direction they are heading though.
