Only on the Unsportsmanlike. The late hit by a defender is a dead ball after the play call that always results in a first down. Unsportsmanlike was the wrong call to begin with, but it does not carry the auto first down.
 

That was terrible. That penalty and the inability to corral the QB may be the nails in the coffin.

Major hold on Iowa not called on the QB scramble. Gophs won't win with this combo of factors against them. I'm trying to be positive but it's tough.
