Why are these Seniors call Empire class?

Carter Coughlin named his recruiting class the Empire Class.

He was determined to stay home and make a difference in his home state here at the "U", and called upon others to do the same.

It meshed well with Coach Kill's Brick By Brick mentality. Carter wanted to be part of rejuvenating Golden Gopher football and building an empire here.

He certainly helped in waking this sleeping giant.

PS, welcome to Gopherhole IrishGoph55.

Well, they've done a helluva good job of starting that "empire" process. Got to admire that kind of determination and loyalty.

PJF talks about building consistency and keeping these quality in state recruits is one of the ways to get there.
