One of the things I'm most happy about the Penn St game was with students and fans who usually aren't there. .. the team gave them a show they're not going to forget.

That brings folks back.

I feel like 2015 we had an opportunity and just couldn't do it :( This year with our first chance to cement some bigger fan engagement... nailed it.

Penn State was the type of game that can turn interested fans into die hards, as they are constantly wanting to experience the pure euphoria of that moment again.

Can't go bonkers and rush the field at a Vikings game!

Well you can try.... not going to be fun.

It will be interesting to see exactly what will happen to availability for this game after the Iowa game.

I was thinking this the other day...why don’t people storm the field en masse at NFL games? I get that without students it’s less raucous but pitch invasions happen quite frequently in top flight pro European soccer.

Security just got the hell out of the way saturday, they knew it was coming

Because the pro environment in the U.S. sucks compared to college. My opinion only.

I don't know. The stairway down to the bottom of the lower bowl in my section had a seriously power insane dude at the bottom that was blocking anybody from getting to the lowest row. There were a few polite adults behind him waiting, then me, then a bunch of students pushing on my back to get moving which reminded me of carnival seating at a Billy Squire concert back in the day (luckily I"m a stout fellow). That usher dude could have gotten some people hurt. We finally gave up waiting and started hopping chairs to get to the bottom row before hopping over the wall. Good times.

I doubt there will be availability by Thursday.

Senior day plus we are either playing for the West or we are playing for an undefeated season. And of course the Axe. It’s gonna be amazing. Just hope there is very little red in there.

I don’t think that outcome matters a lot in regards to demand, as the Axe game will either decide the West or involve an 11-0 Gopher team. Either would be a hot ticket. It sells out this week.

I'm guessing the NFL would freak out. Too many security/liability concerns.

Don't think there's any way of seeing numbers for student tickets until it sells out. I'm already seeing earlier demand on Facebook, though that isn't uncommon for Wisconsin games as students have their Badger friends join them. A sellout will happen, but probably not until early in the week of the game.

lower deck likely sold out by noon tomorrow, if not sooner, based on movement today.

upper deck might only have the $215 and higher seats left by tomorrow evening.

Yeah, probably not enough first responders in the metro to handle all the potential age-related injuries of that fanbase :p

I hope it's a repeat of butts in seats early. It was nice to get into the stadium an hour before kickoff, and enjoy a beer, and avoid the long lines.

Not sure what you consider top flight pro European soccer, but it does NOT happen frequently, or ever, in the Premier League, the Bundesliga or any of the top flight leagues. I think it is primarily a college football thing initiated by students

I wonder how many of those tickets were purchased by Wisconsin fans. Hopefully it was mostly Gophers fans getting them.

Only 3 sections left with medium availability - 239, 240 and 242

Low availability in the upper deck between the end zone on both sides otherwise.

Probably will be more Badgers fans than we'd like, but I'm still confident in it being mostly Gopher fans.
