I think the poster was implying Morgan could become an early NFL prospect if he continues to improve.
Morgan is the starting QB the next 2 seasons, right?

He has already had two of the most prolific games a Qb could have in a very young career. My vote is to keep playing our second string QB.

You are absolutely correct, lets remember that he is not 6'4 which is very helpful at the next level. He has admitted to being slightly over six feet although listed at 6'2.

I would say Tanner has done enough to be the starting QB for the next three seasons. The Iowa season, the Northwestern season and the Wisconsin season.

I'm rewatching the game (this time somewhat sober). On the first drive, they put up a graphic:
"12-2 record as a starter. Best start by a Gopher QB since at least 1959"
"AT LEAST 1959" That tells me it's been so long since a QB has a win/loss record of this
Not to take away from Khaliq, Weber, and others but the win/loss records is what they were referring to.
