Hello all,

I used to be a regular here, but then life got in the way. Moved out of the country, kids, work, etc. I wish I could say that I still follow the program as well as I used to, but I just don’t.

I woke up today, waiting for the game thinking that this was a really big game. Biggest since 2003 Michigan at the Metrodome, in my book.

I am sure that there are other thoughts...what say you, forum?

Yes 1960-we're still in the running for the national championship.
 

1960. I was there in the stands. As I remember, Iowa was ranked number 1, and we number 2. Our fan base chanted "Whose Number 1" throughout the game. At the end of the game, when we had won, the chanted changed to "We're Number 1". I believe that was the orgin of that chant, which has since become common place.
