In Darrell Thompson's game notes he brought out that only I-O-W-A has scored any points in the first quarter for all of PSU's games to date.

That was for 3 points.

The score at the end of the 1st quarter is as good an indicator as any on how it's going for the Men in Maroon.

I think this is true for a lot of games. However, Iowa has a trash offense. Gophers can score. They will score. Just need to score enough to win.

Bringing this back up because I'd shared it with the Gophers around us. All had big smiles with that first TD.

Knew we were already breaking the PSU mold within the first few minutes.

Glorious day and that stat is now blown up.
