Just saw this game again and man...we should and/or had this game!

So glad that Mitch Ledinar is gone, he just looked bored

Shannon Brooks and Rodney Smith both were decent....

Can't wait to give the 2019 Penn State team a can of ass whooping by our 2019 PJ Fleck team! Both Rodney and Shannon will dominant!

That game turned Penn State around. They were on the ropes having lost some earlier games. If we had won they may have tanked a few more games and who knows what they’d be today.

Go ahead and explain how Leidner "looked bored."

Let's not go there.

I'm just going to Row the Boat forward.

I watched this game with my Michigan friends at a bar. They were pumped the Gophers had PSU on the ropes. But they don’t know Minnesota. So I stayed calm. We kept Saquon in check all day. And then we didn’t. So we left the bar, went to a casino and on a whim
I played black jack for the only time in my life. Won $400.

Anyway, ****ty day

Haha! Trust me, watching this game back will make you appreciate how ELITE we are this year in comparison to 2016.

Yes, we are better now.

We really blew that one in the second half. As I recall, we still had a pretty good chance to win in regulation but we allowed them to have a big run back after the kick off from our field goal. That allowed them to hit a field goal to send the game into overtime with seconds left. That's one thing we're not very elite about now either: kick return coverage.

We really could have had a great season that year but we choked on PSU, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.

Penn State driving the field for the game tying FG, with :54, is similar to our game winning drive against GSU. It feels much better to be on the other end of those games.

This reminded me that Leidner threw one of his patented big game, crucial moment interceptions in the end zone in the 4th quarter. That throw reminds me of Cousins’ INT against the Packers this season.
