[TICKETS REMAINING TRACKING THREAD] - How many seats are unsold vs MD, PSU and WIS?

Looks like they released a big chunk of $65 tickets in Sections 222 and 229. Not posting updated numbers today but:

1) There are probably more unsold tickets than what I've been posting because the student section seems to be far from being sold out, given they are releasing seats in two sections that are normally part of the student section
2) The total number of tickets sold between my last post and next post will be artificially low because the equation is as follows:

(Tickets remaining last time I posted) - (tickets remaining next time I post) + (tickets released) = tickets sold during that window

They should move people who have already bought cheaper tickets, upgrade them to better sections, then have a flash sale to sell out the cheap seats.

yup. This is a no brainer, assuming it isn't sold out by ~Thursday.

I hope the ticket office just swallows their pride here. We need to sell this game out, and as much as you wish we'd have 50,000 fans willing to pay these prices, it's becoming apparent that it's not the case.

I bought an extra one for my Gopher Pass....which if you didn't buy one...you are missed out on a great deal. Ave of $28 per ticket for the season.

It's been a wonderful thing for a guy like me on a budget. I'm going to have to think hard about upgrading to a permanent seat. It's been nice to be able to add on tickets to games and be guaranteed to sit next to those that i add on.

Just a thought, I don't think they would have released a big block of tickets in the student section, unless sales of the other $65 seats were going well.

How have the seats been so far? Have they ever upgraded you to the deluxe ones?

Just pulled the trigger on tickets. 3 of the 5 in our group will be going to their first game. Hopefully it’s a memorable one. Still a few more $65 tickets available.

We haven't gotten upgraded beyond sitting in chairbacks for evrrygame except for Nebraska. It's been nice to sit in different parts of the stadium.

I expect we'll be tucked up in a corner for PSU.

My buddy just bought 6 tickets at a cancer benefit auction here in Rochester for $100 each. He in turn, sold them to us for $50 each. 6 of us will be there on Saturday!

what does it say when $65 seats go like hotcakes up in the corner nosebleeds but there continues to be little movement in the $100-$200 "better seats" market? It says to me that the interest within the fan base is there for this game, there are just too many overpriced tickets/seats.

As a season ticket holder, I would be fine if they "insulted" me and cut prices to rates that would fill the place. It might bug me if they always did it, but in this special season as a long time season ticket holder, I would just simply like to see the place be full for a game or two.

For next year and beyond, I also would like to see them look heavily at what Indiana does. Offer tickets for youth at deep discounts. Kids are the gateway to both drawing more adults and seeding the future fan base.

Another thing to consider for the future is the scale for pricing the seats is probably more dependent on the calendar than it is the opponent. Rutgers in early October will probably draw more than Michigan in November so price things accordingly. The Metrodome-ized fan base here has proven to be timid about attending outdoor games in November.

I have to think they're going to do something, for this game, to fill the place. Maybe give it one more day, then announce the plan.

For those worried about filling the gaps and holes.... they can always put the E ticket folks in those holes.

Nice bonus for them for being season ticket holders.

That's kinda surprising / interesting.

I just bought 2 for Saturday. Hopefully can stay the full game, comes down to how fast it goes.

A random person on twitter got me a discount through their season tickets. Saved me some, but not a lot. Opted for lower level. Tickets are going to be hot commodities. This is going to be full. Don't miss out.

The U would choose more ticket revenue over a sellout any day.

I got mine!

I recruited 14 friends+spouses and just called into Gopher Ticket Office. I got transferred to a sales rep who got me to 20 tickets with a steep discount ($93 compared to $60). He threw in a scoreboard message and the opportunity for us to get on the field postgame for a photo. Hopefully, the photo doesn't happen because of a field storming!

What did it for me though was that he threw in 2 complimentary tickets to a non-premium MBB or MHO game. I picked PSU Hockey.

Anyone looking for $60 seats? I have a few extra. If not, I'll post them on Stubhub.

I get 2559 if I punched everything in correctly or about 640 additional tickets sold.

Guys, no need to count by hand!! If you want to see section by section detail I can start posting that as well.

It would be great if you had a site with live unsold ticket data per home game! If the U isn't going to have that data readily available, you might as well automate it.
Lord knows Shama would love it.

Change your best! You're gonna leave early if it's a close game that isn't over in 2:45?

If it is a nearly 4 hour game I will be annoyed.

Have a wedding Saturday afternoon. Curious to see what my mental/physical/BAC state is when I arrive

I’m thinking of building a chrome extension this offseason that would work on all evenue websites, so you could use the extension to get tickets remaining data for essentially every Power 5 school.

This is awesome! Row the Boat, my friend!

looks like roughly 900 seats left for the entire first deck. Lots more on the second deck. But, at least the first deck is 'getting there' in terms of filling.

More People need to be excited! We have a serious chance of going to the rose bowl with a win Saturday!!

It seems like most of the outdoor club seats have sold, nearly overnight. Down to 80 or so. Anyone know anything about that? Seems like a rapid move of a LOT of premium seats.

Appears that a lot of upper deck seating sold today. Could this be because of the digital pass seats? Also how many tickets are left for Wisco?
