18. MINNESOTA
The Gophers appear to have distanced themselves from their early season slow starts, rattling off three impressive wins in the Big Ten. They have two more easy matchups before a difficult four-game stretch to close out their regular season schedule. Outside of a brutal performance against Georgia Southern, Tanner Morgan has been elite, posting a 90.7 passing grade. There is a very real possibility that Minnesota’s home matchup against Wisconsin to wrap up the season will be a play-in game to the Big Ten conference championship.

Other B1G...

4. OHIO STATE
6. PENN STATE
9. WISCONSIN
11. MICHIGAN
19. IOWA
21. MICHIGAN STATE

"brutal" is an interesting word choice for a 289 yard, 3 TD, 1 Int, 1 Fumble game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The two turnovers were bad, sure, but he otherwise played decently well.

He also took a lot of sacks that game and missed a few open receivers.

The Gophers have probably set an unofficial record for having things happen when they pass. When you add together stellar completion % and YPA with a scary number of sacks and several defensive TDs allowed, something major happens in a huge % of dropbacks.

This is a great way of putting it. When Tanner drops back, something interesting is gonna happen, just no promise it is something good for the Gophers.
