Clucko the Chicken is going to have a very hard time getting people to take him seriously if he can't be decisive enough on his picks to avoid having to add "coin flip" as a disclaimer.

Sports Chat Place is going with the Gophers, 35-24
Look for the Golden Gophers to have a good game here.
You guys are playing like this is some throw away game up in Rochester.

    Upset of the week
Nebraska at Minnesota (-8): I get that Minnesota is undefeated, but I have seen them in person. The offensive line is not especially good and the defense is sketchy. The Gophers have gotten away with it so far, and had their most impressive performance of the season last week at Illinois, but this week is different. Nebraska has not lived up to the preseason hype, but the Huskers are still the best team Minnesota has played so far. The Cornhuskers win a high-scoring affair. Pick: Nebraska (+8)

Just for reference his comments from last week vs Illinois: These teams have a lot in common. Both are likely to score at least 30 points and neither is likely to prevent the other team from doing so as well.

Seems like he didn't watch the last two games with regards to our offensive line. I look forward to laughing at this on Sunday.

Not to mention the fact that he is calling for a high scoring affair with predicted temps in the mid 30s with snow and wind. Not exactly great conditions for a shootout.

One thing is very clear, Mr. Palm is very much not impressed with the Gophers to this point. Hopefully we give him some reason to change his mind late Saturday evening.

Are those picks against the spread or straight win? Each game is prefaced by the betting line.

Some of their Minnesota picks have an asterisk, some don't.

So is the asterisk to win but not cover?

Heavy.com Writer Jordan Wilson takes Minnesota
The Gophers are steadying their defense and have an offense coming off 487-yard outing, including a career-best 211 yards on 24 carries from Rodney Smith. Shannon Brooks didn’t make out so bad, either, with 111 yards on 16 carries. If together the Minnesota rushers do even half the damage, Nebraska’s up-and-down offense might not be able to keep up. Pick: Take Minnesota to win, but don’t expect to cover the spread if the weather turns nasty. Take the under and save yourself some trouble.

Bleacher Report is predicting the Gophers to edge 28-23
Minnesota is the most under-the-radar 5-0 team in the country, but a triumph over Nebraska would draw some attention. The tricky part of an early prediction is Nebraska's uncertainty at quarterback; Noah Vedral may start over an injured Adrian Martinez (knee). The Gophers should be able to lean on their defense at home, though.
