The NE RB, Marcus Washington, who had a tough off-season with the law, missed half of last week's game:

3. How will Nebraska handle Washington?
While injuries took their toll on Nebraska’s offense against Northwestern, the Huskers had one of their top weapons watching from the sideline for half the game completely by choice.

Frost said he decided to sit the sophomore running back for the first half “because of internal things and rules” and added that the team needed “to be able to rely on him all the time.”

When Washington finally got in the game, he touched the ball on five of NU’s first seven plays of the third quarter, but he totaled zero total yards. He only had one more carry the rest of the day and didn’t get the ball at all in the fourth quarter.

With Martinez and Spielman dinged up at the very least, will Washington take on a bigger role at Minnesota? Or will his issues continue to linger?

How the **** do you **** up the rules while you're pending another legal case?

How does Frost justify playing this guy in the first place... let alone keep playing him while he continues to mess up?

Frost is Desperate!

Sadly I think this is a big part of it. Innocent till proven guilty, but there is enough smoke around this kid to be pretty confident he is not a good guy.

Criminals are generally not the masterminds they are portrayed as on TV.

Whenever I've watched Nebraska this season and Washington touches the ball, I announce to the room "This guy is awaiting trial for felony child pornography charges."

He is teaching these young people that if you really **** up someone might slap your hand ... maybe ...

Gonna guess that was the Nebraska way during his playing days there so would make sense he would try to carry it on now that he is in charge.

“And I’ll tell you this right now — if there’s anything negative about women, if there’s anything racial or about sexuality, if there’s anything about guns or anything like that, we’re just not going to recruit you, period. Piece of advice for you — what you put on social media, that’s your résumé to the world. That’s what you’re trying to tell the world you’re all about. That’s how you’re advertising yourself. Be smart with that stuff.”

-Scott Frost

Unless it is child porn, just keep that off social media... then that's ok.

Another half? Must be pretty serious. What did he do this time? Kill someone?

Nebraska’s winning percentage has traditionally trended in the same direction as their arrest frequency.

To answer your first question, he's probably thinking "What would Lawrence Phillips do?"

If this guy keeps it up he might miss 3/4 of a game soon.
