Casey Collier, a high school offensive lineman from Mont Belvieu, Texas, has de-committed from the Gophers’ 2020 recruiting class, he tweeted Sunday night. The three star 6-foot-6, 300-pound tackle, was one of the first verbal commitments to the U’s class in March.

“Thank you to the coaching staff for your time and interest during this process,” Collier said.

The Gophers now have two offensive linemen in next year’s class. They have 23 total pledges with the early national signing day Dec. 18.

We want kids who want to be here.

Time to go poach a guy from a MAC school.

We don't know. He may have been asked. I know nothing, but who knows what goes on behind the scenes. With the Terry Lockett news, I wondered if we'd see a schollie open up.
