I just realized Big Ten teams have two off weeks. I like this.

Early Labor Day + Late Thanksgiving = extra week between holiday weekends.

It is good. Chance to rehab and get healthy for some that is critical for teams with no depth.

Yes.

Week 1 Sept 21 after Georgia Southern game, and Week 7 Nov 2 before the Penn State game.

Penn State has the same bye weeks.
