Currently (after 9/28 Games):

Wisconsin 2-0

Iowa 1-0

Minnesota 1-0

Nebraska 1-1

Illinois 0-1

Purdue 0-1

Northwestern 0-2

-------------------------------------------------

Projection (after 10/5 games):

Wisconsin 2-0 (non-conference game)

Minnesota 2-0 (W over Illinois)

Nebraska 2-1 (W over Northwestern)

Iowa 1-1 (L @ Michigan)

Illinois 0-2 (L @ Minnesota)

Purdue 0-2 (L @ Penn State)

Northwestern 0-3 (L @ Nebraska)

-----------------------------------------------------

We'll be tied for first, with Nebraska coming up.

Hmmm, not so sure you are going t be right on the projection.

Projection (after 10/5 games):

Wisconsin 2-0 (non-conference game)

Minnesota 2-0 (W over Illinois)

Nebraska 2-1 (W over Northwestern)

Iowa 1-1 (L @ Michigan)

Illinois 0-2 (L @ Minnesota)

Purdue 0-2 (L @ Penn State)

Northwestern 0-3 (L @ Nebraska)

My Guess:

Wisconsin 2-0
Minnesota 2-0
Iowa 2-0 (I think Harbaugh and company could easily lose this game)
Northwestern 1-2 (NW had Whisky gasping for air, my gut says they beat the Huskers) (Besides, It's time for NW to begin their annual rise in the standings)
Nebraska 1-2 (this ought to put a fork in media darlings)
Purdue 0-2
Illinois 0-2

Not sure what the goal of this thread is.

We are 0-0 in the Illini season.

We finished the Purdue Season 1-0.

The goal is to discuss the B1G West standings and to have a little fun. Reflect on the previous week, and pick next week's B1G West games. Again... just for fun.

I'm not sure Nebraska will beat Northwestern. Wildcats looked pretty stout on defense this week and could just win the game.

I think Nebraska will contain Washington and Martinez on the ground, score ~10 on offense and tack on 7 from a defensive score. NW takes the game 20 to 17.

Ah, okay. If it's just for fun (and not for PJ's eyes).

Currently (after 9/28 Games):

Wisconsin 2-0
Iowa 1-0
Minnesota 1-0
Nebraska 1-1
Illinois 0-1
Purdue 0-1
Northwestern 0-2

Wisconsin 2-0 (non-conference game)
Minnesota 2-0 (W over Illinois)
Iowa 2-0 (W @ Michigan)
Northwestern 1-2 (W @ Nebraska)
Nebraska 1-2 (L vs Northwestern)
Illinois 0-2 (L @ Minnesota)
Purdue 0-2 (L @ Penn State)

I'm going with Iowa and NW both win on the road in the above scenario.

Purdue schedule:

1-3 / 0-1

At PSU - L
Maryland - W
@ Iowa - L
Illinois - W
Nebraska - L
@ Northwestern - L
@ Wisconsin - L
Indiana - W

Could end up 4-8. To get to 6-6, they would need to win over Nebraska, (possible) and win on the road at NW.

I agree with Otis. I give Iowa and Northwestern more credit. Michigan and Nebraska haven’t proven much, if anything yet.

We'll remain in a two-way tie for first, with a trip to Rutgers coming up.

Gutsy call on Iowa over Penn State, Murray. We'll have to part ways there. Penn State, to my eyes, has been outstanding. Iowa's defense is stout, but the Nittany Lions aren't the Wolverines on offense.
