So you are saying Liberty would beat Maryland by 40?

TCU might end up winning this game. They have speed all over the field.

The transitive property never lies

Well, I know that isn’t true - but, I’m having trouble following GH today on when it works and when it doesn’t.

If it favors Fleck in some way...?

SMU 38
TCU 24

13:50 4Q

TCU’s defense is terrible, but I’m impressed by SMU.

TCU driving. This has potential for a crazy finish.

UCF just gifted Pitt a 1st down and Pitt hit a big pass to get into the red zone. Down 6 with 2 minutes to go.

UCF: 34
x Pitt: 28

1:32 4Q

2nd and 6 on the UCF 7.

Final

It was a bit of a crazy finish, but SMU’s defense held on 4th down in their own territory to seal it.

Pitt scores on 4th down using the Philly Special.
35-34 Pitt with 0:56 remaining in the 4th.

I have a feeling about Illinois/Nebby.

I can't believe they had the balls to call that play on 4th down with the game on the line. But it worked and they win.

And that goodness, we don't have to hear about UCF again this year. They are a nice team who likely won't lose again and will deserve their #18 ranking they have. But they are not better than that.

The ACC is trash. Clemson won't be challenged until the first game of the CFP.

Pitt pulls it out

Caught the end, and am pleased. Don't know if it will amount for much different of a season for Pitt than last year. But good for them regardless.

I really like Pitt as a major research university, in a high-tech, Great Lakes/midwestern-ish feeling city that loves its sports teams. Wish they were in the Big Ten.

I hope you’re right. Illinois might be better than Colorado.

As I was typing this, Illinois scored on a 66 yard run!

Well that was easy. Illinois just walked right into the endzone on the second play?

Illinois is not going to be a bad team this year, and E Michigan might win the MAC, for all we know.

blackshirts whiff, 7-0 illini...

That looked like one of Illinois’ long runs against us last season with the gaping hole and a missed tackle

Sadly, you hit the nail on the head with that one.
