The Gophers trailed South Dakota State 21-20 until a Minnesota touchdown with 5:39 to play in Week 1. In Week 2, they trailed Fresno State 28-21 until a touchdown with 46 seconds to play on fourth down — and also trailed in the first overtime — before wining in double OT. On Saturday, the Gophers gave up a go-ahead touchdown to Georgia Southern with 3:47 to play, but they scored their own winning touchdown with 13 seconds left for a 35-32 final score.
