Urban Meyer on South Dakota State: 'That's a good looking team'

Urban Meyer is a fan of the Jackrabbits.

The three-time national champion who is now a college football analyst for Fox Sports sang the praises of South Dakota State on national TV during halftime of their game Thursday night against Minnesota.

"This is not a normal FCS team," Meyer said. "They've won 21 games over the last two years. That's a good looking team. Minnesota is in a street fight."

The Gophers led 13-7 at halftime and could have been down 14-13 if a kickoff that SDSU returned for a touchdown wasn't called back for holding.

Most ‘Hole posters are pretty ignorant about college football. Fact is, we just beat a team that would probably finish in 5th place in the Big Ten West.

He said the same thing about GSU when we played Bama as an FCS team.
