Why are we splitting this guy out wide when he wasn't targeted one time, and couldn't block on the screen? He's a wasted body out there and frees up their safety/corner to cheat over on TJ.

There were a lot of stupid decisions last night but that one was one of the dumbest imo.

Has he been playing well at WR in practice?

Fleck has said over and over all fall that he has been very good at WR and was planning on him getting a lot of time there. Wit that said I think maybe our #3 guy getting hurt forced him to play more WR than they planned last night too.

He's a big body, a big target, super athletic and a play maker. Gotta get our playmakers on the field and the ball in their hands as much as possible.

Then we need to throw him the ball. Nobody on their defense respected him as a receiving threat last night and he whiffed bad on a couple of blocks.

He's a playmaker under center but he sure didn't look like a playmaker at wideout.

Give it time. The whole team generally looked bad last night.

One sloppily played game. Relax.

Yes. He's actually considered our best jump ball guy.

And right now he is #5 as a WR behind TJ, Batteman, CAB and Douglas so it's going to be hard to get him targets when you only throw 18 times a game and have 13 completions. Most teams #5 WR isn't going to be targeted very much but that doesn't mean you should only rotate 4 WR's.

Agreed. If there is one thing to absolutely trust Fleck with it's WR. If he says Green looks good at WR I trust him.

Go Gophers

Maybe Green looks good there because the secondary he praticed against play 10 yards back like they did in the last game....? :(
