QB Hank Bachmeier is starting for Boise St as a true freshman. The Gophers were one of his finalists I believe. They're getting beat by Florida St 24-6. Bachmeier just 6-14 passing for 80 yards.
 

He looks bad. Real bad. Not a great matchup for first start - I believe FSU issues have been on offense not defense. Defense has been pretty good. They are looking better on O so far this year.

Anyone else see that Tulsa had -73 yards rushing against Michigan St. yesterday?

Yeah, real tough situation for him. I wonder if he was just really good in camp or did Boise St not have a lot of good choices at QB? Nothing against him, it's just rare to see a true freshman start at QB.

Remember in the college game sacks are counted as runs- nevertheless that’s an incredible stat

Adrian Martinez is really good, but also possibly the most overrated player in the country

I may be wrong, but if memory serves UNI typically does play ISU and Iowa very tough.

Bachmaeier is consistently high on his passes but really standing in there, and just had roll out toss nice TD overturned on illegal touch. He has intangibles.
